Inspirational Thought for the Day: Love is Above All

As we begin our inspirational thought for the day blog it’s important that we understand where everything begins. The basis of all things and the measure of all feelings is not in our achievement nor even in the efforts we exert but is in the value and measure of love. Indeed, love is the measure of all things and is above all in all in whatever we do. It doesn’t matter how much we do for another because the bottomline of all things is, can we love? Are we able to share love? Are we capable of giving much love. The love that people deserves and the love that is above all.
There is no greater love measured than he who lays down for his friend, this is what the Bible says and indeed, there is no greater degree of aspiration, thought or passion than the love we share to people. It is the gauge of our ability to look beyond the person’s thoughts, actions or even emotions and see them for who they really are. It is an ability to go beyond an individual’s faults and see their positive side, it is the capacity to see the diference in what he/she is incapable of doing and just focusing on the great capacities our love one has.
Our ability to love is what defines us. There is no credit for someone who can love the lovable, but tremendous attribution to him who can love even he who is lovable. We must learn to be dedicated lovers, we must learn to not only accept but to embrace fully-knowing full well that there is a great destiny ahead for everyone who knows how to love.
Loving is not the easiest thing nor is it simple to do. But it is a combination of ironies and paradox. We must learn not only to love based on our capacity to do so, our limits-but to go beyond. Love involves sacrifice, it requires you to lay something down in order for you not only to gain something but open yourself up to receive more things.
When love is expressed, it rules above all. Above emotions, temporary feelings or even reason. To love is to show the deepest and most important conveyance of human goodness.
