Thought of the Day: Seasons Change…
Sep 20th, 2009 by admin
By this time, it’s already the beginning of the Fall season. A lot of students are now in their seats preparing for their courses the coming years. They’re all, for sure, excited of the things to come and looking forward for what they will be learning in the coming days. At least that’s how we want to think of it. These students of course would want to become the best they coud be in whatever- again another thought of the day we would want to believe.
Whether true or not, there’s one thing factual in every stage of our life. That seasons change. May it be the people who surround, the values we learn or the disciplines we need to apply and gain in our daily life- they all have to change.
The matters we face in life evolve. Today may be an easy one. Tomorrow maybe difficult. Today may feel very bleak. Tomorrow gives more clarity. In essence, your thought of the day for today may be on how to solve simple things, your thought of the day tomorrow would be on how to create complex solutions.
Our life and our destinies are intertwined to one another. We are all woven in a web full of different events, values and challenges. In this web are the people we will meet, the issues we will face and the values we will gain.We are all part of one bigger body. A body that grows, transforms and moves on. And whether we like it or not, we are part of it and we have to go with the flow.
It’s not easy to embrace change nor to realize that there would not always be one strong stable thing in life. Your friends today may not be there for you tomorrow. Your work today maybe different from what you do next. Your fixation now maybe an annoyance as the time goes by. Seasons change. With it is our need to adapt to it and be effective in carrying out the goal we have set forth to take.
We cannot always and must never be happy with a single solution. We, like many things in life, must evolve. We must choose a path that will allow us not to struggle through change, but to rejoice in it. Delightful and happy of the fact that we can be transformed. And despite the change of seasons, we grow up
